This is the same concept as in the “dancing notes” canvas for experimenting with arpeggios.
At 110 bpm, this example uses the G minor or E major scale.
I chose a sound from the Waldorf Pulse 2.
Each of the eight samples contains the eight notes of an octave. The notes in each column are offset by a fourth.
Modulators 1 and 2 control the values “E1 Relative X” and “E1 Relative Y.” Playing with macros 1 and 2 changes the values of the modulators. This allows you to influence the note sequence.
Euclidean sequencing can be used to create rhythmic structures.

- Plug the stick/card to Tempera.
- Press the External storage button and load the canvas directly from external media.
