Funky Core
A Jazz/Funk backline canvas that sounds great when adjusting FX settings, especially filter and filter envelope settings.
Inspired by the Jungle D&B breakbeat canvas created by Red Means Recording (see
), I used 8 x 120bpm jazz and funk samples each of 1-bar in length.
The blue emitter is set up to play the full sample in a given column, with the X-spray value changing slowly over time via a modulator. The others are there to provide some depth and funkiness.

How to use
- Download the canvas.
- Copy
Funky Core.canvas to a FAT-formatted USB stick or a micro SD card into a folder named programs.
- Plug the stick/card to Tempera.
- Press the External storage button and load the canvas directly from external media.
- Download the canvas.
